There has been a shortage of posting from the Lopez's due to the fact that my handbag was stolen on April 23rd! Everyday I'm discovering new things I'm missing. One of the worst discoveries was that inside my handbag was our DIGITAL CAMERA!!! So since we haven't purchased a new one yet I will post some old pics. I know there are those of you who need an "Audrey Fix". HAVE YOUR FILL. I would hate to be responsible for you going without!

Weekend Getaway...

What a weekend!!! We met the Dave, Jess n Presli in Round Rock Saturday morning headed for San Antonio to go to Sea World. When a flood hit Central Texas we decided to delay our plans a day and make a weekend of it. We headed further south to Corpus Christi till the storm passed. We decided to make a pitstop so Audrey could get her first Chucky Cheese experience. Presli was a pro and showed Audrey all the in n outs of every game n ride there was to offer. Our little Audrey set her eyes on the HUGE rocking horse in the center of the building and rarely diverted her attention...even to eat!

Then it was off to the beach...love this picture!

We made our way back to San Antonio later that evening and stayed at a hotel right across the street from Sea World. We barely slept a wink and it was time to go again. The first thing we saw was Sea Lions. Audrey was giddy!!! Then she heard the birdies calling. So we got some nectar and off we went...

then Mr. George introduced Audrey to Lucy. Audrey liked her so much...

she let her sit on her head!!! PRICELESS

We saw flamingos dancing, otters clapping and even alligators being friendly with the turtles.

She wasn't too sure about the Shamu Chef so she made Daddy stand by him.

She did however, love the REAL Shamu! Amazing isn't it?

She cheered the dolphins on while they performed...

then she pet the bottlenose dolphins in the splash tank.

I think she liked the HUGE fish tank the best...

We finished the day at the water park...

then grabbed some ice cream and hit the road for home!

What a magical day!

First I have to say THANK YOU to Kyla for such an amazing Birthday cake. Eveyone went on and on about how perfect it was. And delicious to boot! Audrey got every book known to man...I'm not kidding. If she starts school at 3rd grade level I won't be surprised. SISTER loves books!!! She got animal books, alphabet books, number books, music books, writing books, princess books and even a peter cottontail book...that really plays the song...ALL DAY LONG! Thanks GJO!

She had fun dressing up in her Tinkerbell outfit from Uncle Jeff, Aunt Julie and Jacob. She received some of the most adorable outfits. She opened a cash register, a tinkerbell tent, a tinkerbell etch a sketch, a tinkerbell talking lantern, a puppy in a purse, a glow station, a sand pail and shovel and even a motorized Barbie ATV! She's not lacking for entertainment. LOL

Another month has flown by! I apologize to all of my faithful followers (LOL!) for not updating sooner. Everytime I sit down to do this I think. This isn't that time consuming! Why has it taken me so long to update~! Answer is...wonderful God-given distractions!!! Regardless of what has hindered the update here it is nonetheless.

At the end of January Audrey and I got to surprise Papa Bear and GJo by flying to be with the family for Jacob's 1st birthday! I am soooo glad we were able to be there. He is such a tremendous joy to be around! It was phenominal to see his development in person. Holding him and watching Audrey interact with him for the first time was so very special. We enjoyed visiting with all of the Tuley's as well as the friends that came to see the AMAZING JACOB! Jeff and Julie did an AWESOME job with the whole birthday celebration!

In February Josh was given another route. That has been an answer to prayer because it has enabled him to step out of driving and just manage. GOD IS GOOD! It has been a welcome transition and he is so grateful for the additional time he has with Audrey. He has ejoyed a golf round or two and been busy fixing up things around the ranch. Never a dull moment! I have continued working from home and love working in my pajamas on occasion. I helped coordinate a baby shower for a friend from church. We are lucky enough to have a young woman in the church who makes cakes. I had to throw in a pic of her baby shower masterpiece. Julie she was amazed by your cake as well! At the end of February it snowed here in Texas. We got 4-5 inches of snow and it was beautiful!!! We built a snowman, made snow angels, ate snow and got very cold but it was a memory we will never forget! Enjoy the pics! May God bless you today and always!

I swear she hasn't been drinking! It was literally 12:01 and she was STILL going strong if you can believe it! We didn't get her down till 2am and she fought it all the way!

I swear I didn't forget that we have a blog. Life has just proved quite busy in 2010 already! I just haven't been able to get all my "systems" back in tact. Those who know me well are laughing hysterically b/c they know about my systems! I am the Queen of organization and I'm telling you I have had a hard time finding my groove since Christmas. Between raising Audrey, working, finding time for friends, planning and Emceeing the Church New Year's Eve Entertainment, teaching Sunday school, interpreting every other Sunday morning for the deaf, starting a singing group and beginning an adult class at church WHILE Josh works full time in a labor intense career, plans a Men's Retreat and teaches Timothy Class we are pooped! Now you see why I have to have systems! There are only so many hours in a day and lately blogging, while enjoyable, just hasn't made it to the top of the list. Yet the Lord always restores our energy somehow. Updating our blog again has it's rightful place in "the system".

This is our normal and we love it!

My work is going beautifully! I am excited to report that life insurance sales have been very consistent. Praise God! My employers have graciously allowed me to work from home since the week before Thanksgiving. We are soooo grateful! I only report to the actual office once per quarter now and spend the rest of my work hours in my home office. GOD IS SO GOOD! I have truely come to appreciate my God-given abilities in this field and never plan to leave it. Lord willing God will continue to bless my efforts.

Josh's business has had some craziness thru the holidays but things are beginning to calm down again. Driver changes, unforeseen route changes and management pressure have really taken a toll on Josh physically and emotionally. Please pray for his continued strength and smooth transitions. In the ever changing economy it's easy to lose sight of the fact that God is in control and he will bring us through whatever the world throws at us. I am soooo incredibly proud of the work ethic, integrity and insight that Josh has displayed through all the drama in recent weeks.

As you can see Audrey had a fabulous Christmas and New Years! She continues to surprise us. New words everyday, hillarious facial expressions and totally "off the hook" dance moves. Sister has some serious rythm. Frightening! Such an absolute joy to be able to influence and encourage all of her many talents. Thanks for visiting us today. I promise it won't be a month before you hear more from us.

SANTA BRUNG IT TO ME!!!

Hope everyone had an AMAZING CHRISTMAS! We were home for the holidays but got to see Papa Bear and Gramma Jo via Yahoo Messenger on Christmas Day. We opened gifts and could actually see each other it was so cool! Audrey got some adorable outfits and Josh and I got gorgeous wallets and a shopping spree to boot! Being in person would have been better but it looks like we will get to hug everyone in January in Tennesse as we celebrate Jacob's one year birthday! GOD ID GOOD!

We had "Brandon's" famous ribs for dinner on Christmas Eve and opened presents with the Lopez Clan. Audrey made out like a FAT RAT with dolls galore and even a vtech laptop. Josh surprised me with a real COACH handbag and wallet! I think I heard the angels sing! I know I'm so vain...you can say it. Josh got clothes, Playstations games and an automatic Skeleton watch (the kind that shows all the insides).

Traditional Christmas Ham and all the trimmings came on Christmas Day. Food was great! Relaxing was better!!! Saturday we headed to Uncle Charles' house to viosit with family from out of town. I put on the movie SPIRIT for Audrey (which is about riding horses) so I could go in the office and work a bit. All of sudden I noticed it was really quiet in the living room. I snuck around the corner and this is what I saw...

We hosted the dessert portion of the Youth Progressive Dinner Saturday nite. I made banana pudding, peppermint cupcakes, coffee punch and hot apple cider. We had a blast playing charades and family fued with the kids. I was pretty proud of my decorations so I snapped a fews pics for ya!

We had a fun Thanksgiving with the Lopez clan. We missed the Winkler and Tuley side of the family but did get to visit over the phone. Next Year we need to SKYPE!!!

Audrey discovered a love for ice cream that had everyone in stitches. We found some great after Turkey Day sales and ate till our tummy's content! Sorry bout the blurry pics below. Miss Thing was on a MAJOR SUGAR HIGH and wouldn't be still!

Uncle Brandon let us try out his deer hunting earmuffs! You can hear everything crystal clear with those things. Even a whisper but we don't know how to do that yet.

This place was awesome! Just as you walk throught the saloon doors snow begins to fall and AJ screamed for joy! There was a man singing Christmas songs on an old time stage around a huge fire pit. We walked into an old western town with holiday decorated shops and old country food stands. Any kind of handcrafted gift you can imagine. The staff were dressed in cowboy gear and everyone was so welcoming. Santa was there sitting by another fire inside listening to all the kids Christmas wishes and there were smiles everwhere. We had such a great time that we're going back next year.

I can hardly believe we are 5 1/2 weeks away from Christmas again!!! This year has absolutely flown by! So many fun new milestones for Audrey. Josh and I have experienced so many blessings for this year with careers, spiritual growth and in our marriage. We have really enjoyed being parents and yet make time to spoil each other as well. God Is Able!

Every year we go to Santa's Forest and pick a tree! We won't cut it down till after Thanksgiving but we pick it our early! We picked a WHOPPER this year. It is 9 ft tall and wider than the three of us combined. It will be a beautiful christmas.

We had so much fun at the Circus!

Audrey got to ride an elephant, see acrobats and clowns and ALL kinds of animals perform!

She was mezmerized by the lights and danced the night away under the BIG TOP.

Okay so it's Monday morning and I turned my cell phone on and instantly got a reminder to update the blog. Guess I'll have to keep that thing on in order to be reminded. Anyhow, we had a GREAT TIME trick or treating with AJ Saturday night. She was a pirate and her Daddy was Phantom of the Opera. Couldn't get him to sing though. We worked on saying trick or treat all week but all we could get was "WIGAWE". Everyone thought it was adorable and she came home with tons of candy. Success!

Okay so it's been 2 months since I updated this blog. I cannot believe how time has slipped through my fingers. I have set an alarm on my phone to remind me to update every Sunday.

There have been a few changes since the last update. I am no longer keeping the Seth, Kenna and Deacon because I have accepted an at home position with an insurance firm selling Life Insurance. As much as loved those kids this was an opportunity I couldn't pass up.

Josh is still doing great with FedEx and looking to further expand his business after the holiday season. Lord willing he will step out of his truck in March so that he can just manage his routes. We are VERY excited for that day!

Audrey is continuing to grow and learn new words everyday. Friday nite she said "Bye Bye see you later love you". Of course, it wasn't quite crystal clear but everybody in the room caught it and she was soooo proud of herself. She is such a joy! I am so grateful the Lord has seen fit to allow Josh and I to be your parents Audrey!!! This Sunday at church she bowed her head and put her hands together when asked to pray. I lost it! I couldn't hold the tears back as I remembered years ago praying SO long and SO hard to have these moments that I am living out everyday now. GOD IS SO GOOD!!!

A Day at the Park

I am watching 2 kids this school year to help a new young family at our church. They have 3 great kids...Seth (7) Kenna (3) and Deacon (1)...but surprise they're expecting!!! Jason is a Volleyball coach at the High School and Katy is a Science teacher. They moved here recently and needed a place to watch the kids while they work. I decided it would be good interaction for Audrey and the income would help me support my new business. All three kids were here starting August 11th. Now you know why I haven't updated the blog! We are finally in a routine and Seth started school the 24th so it's me and the crazy three! We have a great time together! Kenna is a huge help as she enjoy's playing mommy to the two younger children and keeps them in line pretty well when I'm not looking. We had our last big FUN day last week with Seth. We went to a movie and then ate lunch in the park. Well, if the truth be told, the birds and squirrels probably ate more than the kids but it was fun!

It's normal to hear Audrey scampering around the house, singing in her room, reading a book to Lobo (her teddy bear) or pulling herself up on th couch to sit in our laps.

But, one day last month we didn't see or hear her anywhere. We got a bit frantic if the truth be told. We were yelling her name and looking all over the house when finally we heard...

We still don't know what went down the toilet but we haven't missed it yet so it must not have been too important.

It is so cute to watch Audrey interact with her closest pals. It is amazing how her eyes light up when she plays with other kids. Presli is teaching Audrey everything she knows about smiling for the camera. Boy can that girl cheese! Laney sings on cue and captivates Audrey's attention with her rendition of "Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone...". This was a rare still moment for Laney! We love her and Gavin to peices! Danielle is a great "big sister" and is always aware of AJ's whereabouts. Dillon plays with her every chance he gets. Well, when he's not runnin around with Titus. That Titus is a whole other story. We'll get to him shortly. First we have to share a bit about our Nomi. She is very special to us. We don't get to see her often but when we do it's a barrel of laughs.

We thought this would be the easiest way to share a piece of our life with all of you! So many of our family and friends ask me to email pics of Audrey. I am terrible about that! She's now 16 months old and full of energy!!! Oh My Goodness! I love taking pictures of her and I have a bazillion to share but they never seem to make it to the email. I am sorry. We'll dash through her last 16 months and blog every major event from here on out! That may mean you get an update everyday as there is always something new and exciting with her.

She is our MIRACLE child! Josh and I tried for 5 years to start a family but God kept saying ...not yet. His timing is always perfect! We found out that we were pregnant on our 9 year Anniversary. We were overjoyed and have made Jeremiah 29:11-13 our family motto. Even when we don't understand why things are not going our way we lean on this scripture for confirmation of the bigger picture. GOD delivers everytime! We had Audrey March 20, 2008 and our life has never been the same. She is an absolute joy!
